So many awesome moments at Hannah + Tom’s wedding we found it hard to choose which ones to put in the teaser… so we squeezed in as many as we could to this ace tune!
Your own wedding goes by so quickly it’s easy to forget what happened » That’s what we’re here for!
Raavi + Jivan’s wedding wins the prize hands down for ‘best light at a wedding ever’. I mean just look at those shots of these two babes! Their wedding was SUCH a blast to film, never mind that we got to fly to Malaga in March and spend just a liiiiitle bit of time in the sunshine we’ve missed for so many months but those outfits, the craziest, most hilarious groomsmen we’ve ever met, a KICKIN’ party with an amazing mashup of vibes and for sure the most colourful outfits we’ve seen guests rock so far – well – just watch their film and you’ll see just how much fun we had filming their wedding. With guests from all over the world everyone was determined to make this one last.
R+J… you guys are awesome.
From getting ready together in an Airbnb so cool it inspired us to repaint our own bedroom walls, to throwing on a teal leather jacket over a delicate dress and getting the bus up Islington High Street to their ceremony – this pair threw the rule book straight out of the window.
When we heard Abby + Olly were going to get the bus to their wedding and have a post-wedding stroll down to The Blacksmith and Toffee Maker for their reception, we knew this wedding was going to have some serious city vibes. With Islington Town Hall as a ceremony backdrop (and the coolest registrar we’ve met so far – check her out on ‘Married at First Sight!’) the whole day was so laid back. No last minute nerves for this pair!
After the ceremony they let their guests go on ahead to get the party started while they meandered through Camden Passage – a relaxed and intimate start to married life (even if we were following them!)
Greeted by a pub full of congratulations the bride and groom BOTH gave speeches (LOVE IT) which were accompanied by a totally delicious Greek street food van (and chased up with a sparkler party outside!) The final twist of the day was Abby’s big reveal in a gorgeous vintage dress for their first dance, before Olly kicked off the party with some rad dance moves!
Abby + Olly, thanks for being the best way to kick off an exciting 2017!
When we got a last minute call just a few weeks before their wedding we couldn’t wait to be part of this awesome couple’s wedding. Demi is an amazing wedding planner herself (at Coco Confetti) so we knew this one would be great! She and Ioannis were getting married in early January, surrounded by friends and family in a wedding FULL of charming Greek tradition, but with some great modern details. We loved spending the morning with both of their families, preparing their Stolisma (an intimate blessing from everyone they love before leaving for their ceremony).
Starting with a ceremony in the striking Greek Orthodox Church in Camden, followed by congratulations from all the friends and family who came to celebrate and finally, on to the Fable to throw down some shapes on the dance floor. Despite losing the groom’s parents for a an hour or so (they turned up safely in the end) all the guests had an amazing time. The Fable is such a stylish central London city venue with tonnes of space (and some pretty rad cocktails).
After some mixing, some mingling and a tasty dinner the guests made their way up to the third floor where The 80s Babies were ready to get everyone on the dance floor (and they ROCKED IT!). With the DJ mixing in some Greek tunes later on to get everyone spinning in circles it made for quite a kickin’ party!
Our favourite moment of the night was definitely when Demi + Ioannis took to the floor to bust out the moves to ‘Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)’. Just a great wedding moment to capture!
From intimate, family focused to a rockin’ party, Demi + Ioannis’ wedding was an absolute blast!
When we met these guys for coffee a few months back with Finnick in tow we knew their wedding was going to be off the charts awesome. Lisa is a kick ass #girlboss with her company Paperknots and is a huge industry inspiration so we couldn’t wait to see what they had planned.
This gorgeous pair didn’t let a little drizzle get them down – from arriving at the incredible Brympton House it was smiles all day long. Exploring the venue was like opening the best present ever – something new around every corner. I mean, there were swans for crying out loud. FREAKING SWANS!
After the tiniest scare that the groom would see the bride before the wedding (naughty groomsmen scaring Lisa and Becky like that!) everything was spot on. Lisa gliding down the aisle. Tears during their vows. A cocktail hour filled with songs chosen by Chris to remind them of all their travel adventures together. Lisa and Chris dancing into their wedding breakfast hand in hand. An incredible handmade copper seating chart. Marshmallows over a firepit.
Literally every detail was incredible – Lisa totally rocked her Anna Campbell dress, there were plenty of happy tears (mostly from Chris) and ALL THE PAPERY EVERYTHINGS.
You SMASHED IT LoveBugs.
It’s safe to say this is the epitome of a gorgeous modern wedding and Katy and Charlie were everything we look for in a couple. Fun, laid back and so excited to start their married life together! Austin is such a cool place and it’s obvious why they belong there. Effortless style, an appreciation of great food and a desire for all their guests to feel at home. This couple is totally adorable, from Charlie’s regular outbursts of contagious laughter to Katy’s endless joy at every moment. It was so incredible to experience this alongside them, their family and their friends.
Oh, and who doesn’t love a wedding with a couple of canine guests??? Max and Bingley did their best to steal the show!
Everything about the day was so much fun. Starting with the ceremony at the mid-century modern South Congress Hotel on a gorgeous suite balcony – only their closest friends and family present – it was an incredibly intimate affair. You could tell the ceremony meant so much to everyone in the room and more than a few tears were shed! You can totally feel how excited Katy and Charlie are to be marrying one another. Followed by macarons and champagne, the party got started and you can genuinely see how overjoyed each family is to welcome their new daughter-in-law and son-in-law.
The day was topped off with the best Mexican food and cocktails at La Condesa. With such an intimate wedding you can tell it really meant a lot for each guest to be there and gave the whole day such an overwhelming atmosphere of love and support for this awesome couple. Their friends busted some serious moves on the dance floor with a playlist that brought back more than a few memories from teenage years!
There were so many personal details that really made this intimate and laid back celebration – we think you’ll love this film just as much as we did making it.
