You’ve probably read somewhere that the most important thing for your wedding videographer to be is ‘discrete’ or ‘unobtrusive’. That might have been true when the peak of wedding videography was an old guy in the corner with a giant camcorder watching people like he’s got a restraining order.
you’re just standing in a fancy-ass room with no-one to rock out with.
Your video will be just that – yours. Not just the surface level of how amazing you looked but how it all felt. It’s going to be MORE than just visually amazing, more than cool, more than ‘pretty’ – it’s going to have YOU at the heart of it.
For us, the best way to really get the vibe of your wedding is to be right there in the thick of it, not standing in the shadows hoping to capture the back of someone’s head. That’s why we don’t stand around taking time-lapses or use drones sliders or tripods – because they hold us back. Camera in hand we can get right where the action is.
We love a party, so don’t be surprised if we’re challenging your guests to a dance-off to get the best shots we can. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not going to do the worm in the middle of your ceremony or poke a giant lens into conversations – but you’d better believe if there’s any crowd surfing going on – we’ll be right there in the middle filming like our lives depend on it.
We’ll joke with your guests and make sure they’re not super freaked out about having a camera around. We’ll hang with you guys and make sure you’re having an amazing day. We’ll be there to both capture and create incredible moments. We’ll shake our thing on the dancefloor with your family and friends and have drinks with you at the bar. So when you’re finished partying at 1am we can create a film with a vibe more at home in a music video than a party political broadcast.
AND ONE THING'S FOR CERTAIN.
